CASTELL D’ENCUS 100% Pinot Noir D.O. Costers del Segre
Acusp 2020 is visually clean, with a bright ruby red color. On the nose, it presents a delicate complexity with citrus notes of blood orange, hints of mild tobacco and aromas of wild fruits such as blueberries and blackberries. The palate is elegant and subtle, with very fine tannins and an austere profile where the oak is practically imperceptible, allowing the fruit to express itself in all its authenticity. The texture is ethereal and light, leaving a persistent and refined finish that lingers on the palate. WINE MAKING: he grapes are harvested by hand, with meticulous care to maintain the integrity of the grapes, which are transported in small 10 kg crates. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks and in 12th century stone vats, while malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. After 12 months in wood, the wine is bottled without filtration or stabilization, so some sediment may appear.
