GOMEZ CRUZADO WINERY. Grapes from the oldest vineyards in the winery; Tempranillo with small contributions of Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo and Viura, comes out with D.O.Ca. Rioja. Calcareous clay soils from the Sierra de Cantabria that are intense and complex where ripe black fruit predominates with hints of toast and spices. The palate opens balanced, with contributions of stewed fruit, silky, long-lasting tannins and hints of tobacco and spices.

PREPARATION: Gentle pressing after destemming the clusters, cold pre-fermentation maceration for four days, with regular pumping over. Fermentation in new French and American oak barrels, where it will age for a minimum of 18 months. Conventional agriculture.
